I don't know where the time goes... I really don't. And I always have such good intentions when I write a note to you all and say that I'm going to write more often - I really do mean it when I say it. It's just that life gets in the way and then other things, more important things, end up popping up in front of me and I get distracted or set in a different direction. Inevitably I end up forgetting about this blog, forgetting that I said I was going to write more and I just end up doing nothing with it. To be completely honest with you, I was debating just deleting the blog entirely a couple of weeks ago. I mean really, it's been 9 months since I last wrote anything it's not like anyone is holding their breath waiting to see what I've been reading lately or what I'm going to write next.
But I'm not going to delete this blog. Whether I really get my act together and start writing more often (even to just start writing out my monthly book lists again) or if it's just here waiting for me for when I do think of something I want to write, I'm not deleting the page. We'll just have to see what happens in the future - and by now, I know better than to tell you that I will try to write more often because I know that I can't garuntee that I will.
Beyond that I can't say I know what this page will become. I don't have any major goals for it. I just don't. Maybe that's a bad thing, but it is the way it is.
Till next time - however long that may be! - I hope you're reading. I hope you're enjoying your life. And I hope that you're happy. See you again sometime (soon??) in the future!
An avid reader with a devotion to books, one of my favourite things to do is talk about the stories. Then there's movies, TV, and music, and the stories they tell... Stick around and get all the ups, downs, ins and outs!

I Really Suck :)
Yep, Yep... I really suck at blogging. Not only on this site too. All my blogs are begging for updates. Tonight (or this morning, however you'd like to say it) I don't have anything really to post. I will however list a few titles that have been released in the last couple of months that I read and I think are must reads...
A Distant Magic by M.J. Putney (this is part of her 'Guardian' series, which I've mentioned before)
Simply Perfect by Mary Balogh (also part of a series, though I think this is the final book)
The Cat by Jean Johnson (book 5 in the 'Sons of Destiny' series)
Lover Enshrined by J.R. Ward (this is part of the 'Black Dagger Brotherhood' series)
Secrets of Surrender by Madeline Hunter
Midnight Rising by Lara Adrian
Damien: The Nightwalkers by Jacquelyn Frank
There were others and next time I'll put more up (hopefully it won't take another couple of months, cross your fingers) but these were the ones that have stuck in my mind. There are a couple too, that I'm anxiously waiting for and I'll mention those ones next time too... Oohh, maybe that'll give me a topic and the impetus to get my butt back here soon :)

To Get the Ball Rolling Again
So, it's been a long time. Months even. But I haven't died and I am still busy both reading and writing. I'm not going to bore you with my reading lists from the last 4 months, all I will say is that I've read a lot of new and cool books and from all the different sub-genre's of romance - historical, fantasy, contemporary, paranormal and even a couple futuristic. Some books are ones that have been out for quite a while and I just haven't picked them up or they hadn't quite caught my eye; others are ones that I had waited for with great enthusiasm and read with equal fervor. My TBR pile as always is at least a foot thick, I've always got a book to read, an idea to write about, or something else to do.
I'm going to try to update this page more often... More than anything else, my having not posted for the past several months is due almost entirely to sheer laziness. I can admit it, but I am going try harder. I have several ideas for blogs, some outlined, some half-written; but ideas none the less. Eventually I'll get them written down and posted for all to see. I guess that's it for now. I'll see you again soon!!
